Roundabout Europe consists of five main partners and is supported by a group of cooperation partners, who are not officially part of the project but who intend to follow the developments.
Imaginarius (Portugal)
Imaginarius is the cultural landmark of Santa Maria da Feira. The festival takes place every year in May since 2001. Imaginarius is the first portuguese creation space devoted to Street Arts and Circus running all year long, as a facility to artistic support: Artist Residency Program, Community Art Projects, Capacity Building and Internationalization.
KoresponDance festival (Czech Republic)
The KoresponDance is an international festival since 2009 with focus on contemporary dance, physical theatre and new circus located in the exceptional area of the baroque castle in dár nad Sázavou and its environs in the Czech republic. The KoresponDance hosts many international artists and supports the development
of their artistic projects in situ by offering spaces for artistic residencies with coaching.
Out There (United Kingdom)
A cultural landmark developed by Out There Arts, Out There is an international festival of circus and street arts taking place in the seaside town of Great Yarmouth, UK. Since 2008, Out There has established an international reputation for its exceptional, innovative and diverse programme. For residencies, Out There Arts, National Centre for Outdoor Arts and Circus offers spaces at The Drill House, a creation centre for high-quality circus and Outdoor arts with an ethos of combining international level artistic development and dynamic local engagement.
Passage Festival (Denmark)
Passage is an annual, international street-theatre festival, uniting Helsingør, Denmark and Helsingborg, Sweden across the Sound. It is organized by Helsingør Theatre and Dunkers Culture House. Since 2004, the festival has presented high-quality artists, with a strong focus on rooting in local communities. In Passages residencies, artists develop new projects with a site specific and local focus.
Spoffin Festival (The Netherlands)
Spoffin is an international festival for street arts and site-specific theatre in the Netherlands. It uses the beautiful mediaeval city centre of Amersfoort as its stage and backdrop. Since 2010 Spoffin offers every last weekend of August three days full of the finest theatre, dance, circus and music. The festival has an IN and an OFF section and invites many professionals from all over Europe to the city, and invites emerging artists to develop their work during residencies.
